I am currently recruiting for a permanent Buyer, based onsite with a leading Pharmaceutical organisation. Our client, a leading industrial solutions provider are seeking a Buyer / Stores Lead for a 12 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company with opportunity for progression. Responsibilities: Managing the day to day functions within the Engineering Storeroom and ensure that effective Storeroom practices are maintained. Place stock replenishment orders and arrange necessary logistics to ensure the product is delivered in an efficient manner. Providing customer quotations. Maintaining records and quotations for audit purposes. Presenting product specifications, pricing and substitutions to customers. Liaising closely with clients finance and purchasing teams to ensure a smooth process. Issue, receive and manage client inventory. Utilizing internal and clients ERP stock management system. Responsible for cycle counting, stock checks and material planning. Processing stores procurement requisitions and ensuring accuracy. Communicating with site users regarding deliveries. Ensure technical advice to clients to support their product choice. Ensure H&S compliance. Requirements: Experience working within a highly regulated environment is desirable. 3-5 years’ experience in pharma or food industry experience required. Strong communication and organisational skills. Experience working in an Engineering stores environment. Purchasing experience.
