<h2>senior project manager</h2> representing a leading software provider with a strong growth strategy globally, our client is currently looking to appoint a highly dynamic, commercially astute project manager. we are looking for someone who has a positive, pro-active attitude, and who is excited about being part of a growing, hard-working, vibrant, friendly, and collaborative team. you will be technical minded, with a strong interest in technology. you must eager to enhance your skills and knowledge. reporting to the service delivery manager, you will be responsible for all projects across the uk and ireland. you’ll have cross-functional management of the development, technical services and professional services teams. the role will require strong leadership skills, having the ability to set the vison for project team members, and facilitate buy-in and execution. we are a global company and commitment to different time zones will be a common occurrence. travel between ireland and the uk will be required frequently, at times this maybe a weekly event. <h4>key responsibilities :</h4> support and provide input into tendering, planning and project estimates for new projects; responsible for overall project delivery in the uk and ireland; staff management including resource planning, training, development, and reporting. contribute to internal process improvements and company strategy. client focus and professional services. <h4>skill set and competencies :</h4> prince2 practitioner. 5+ years’ experience as senior project manager. 5+ years’ experience working in a multi-project environment. 5+ years stakeholder management experience. time management. strong team leadership skills. problem solving. attention to detail. conflict management. ability identify and improve processes without prompts from management. ability to manage small (users 10+) and large projects (users 300+) simultaneously. legal, accounting or document management software experience is highly desirable. agile (scrum) knowledge desirable; and. familiar with microsoft dynamics crm or salesforce desirable. please contact leonie gleeson on +353214221000 to discuss in full confidence. this job originally appeared on recruitireland.com.
