Health Care Assistants. Temporary and Permanent contracts. (Full and Part Time Hours. Application details/procedure: Responsibilities - The post holder will be responsible for; Ward based Healthcare Assistants. • Supporting the RN in attending to all patients needs. • Assisting with Nutrition and Hydration and assisting patients where required. • Working with RN/Multidisciplinary Team in the mobilisation/rehabilitation of patients. • Working as part of a team in pressure area prevention. • Assisting patients with mouth care as needed. • Maintaining high standards in Hygiene. • Communicating with patients/family /parents. • Assisting with the needs of patients/ families at End of Life. • Have a working knowledge of HIQA standards as they apply to the role/ care setting, for example, Standards for Healthcare, National Standards for the Prevention and Control of Healthcare Associated Infections, Hygiene standards.   1.Email.
