PE Global is currently recruiting for a QC Chemist for a client site in East Cork - Description: QC CHEMIST - SYSTEMS PROJECTS (12 months. Specific Responsibilities and skills for position: Key strengths in the area of QC electronic systems and project team participation are desirable. Essential Duties and Job Functions : Deliver Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) projects as per LIS roadmap. Support implementation of electronic system solutions in QC to replace paper based processes. Act as business representative to gather user requirements for implementation of new QC electronic systems e.g. LES (Laboratory Execution System) method automation, LES electronic logbooks. Timely completion of assigned Track change controls, CAPAs and tasks to support QC Systems projects. Revise and review QC document updates to support QC Systems projects and processes. Liaise with LIS project managers and system administrators in Foster City (US) to deliver on QC Systems projects. Escalation of project risks and implementation of appropriate mitigations working with the project team. Assists in the training of QC staff on QC Systems as needed. Participation in cross functional teams, as needed. Knowledge, Experience and Skills: Working knowledge of GMPs, pharmacopoeial, and regulatory requirements for implementation of electronic systems in QC. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required. Knowledge of Data Integrity & CSV including 21CFRPart 11/ Annex 11 requirements for laboratory computerised systems desirable. Detail orientation and problem solving skills to participate in root cause analysis. Organizational skills for concurrent execution of multiple QC Systems projects. Relevant experience in a pharmaceutical operations environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project as an added advantage. 3+ years of relevant experience and a BS degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
