DEPUTY GM - 4* HOTEL-WEST OF CORK CITY. We are currently seeking outstanding candidates for a beautiful 4* property 20 minutes from Cork City,who will oversee and manage the day to day operation of this fabulous hotel. The successful candidate will have a strong food & beverage background and will have the desire to embrace the ethos of the property and strive to surpass the high standards which this hotel are renowned for. Our client are recruiting for a Deputy General Manager to run the complete operation on a day to day basis. The Deputy Manager will be responsible for all heads of department and will report directly to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will come from a 4* or 5* and will have senior management experience in a luxury hotel. This is very Much F&B Focused role. May suit a very experienced F&B Manager. Key Responsibilities. Manage the day to day operations of the hotel. Oversee all areas including the very busy food & beverage and conference & banqueting departments. Be the face of the hotel. Ensure training and procedures are implemented and followed. Ensure the achievement and maintaining of standards and practices within the hotel. Assist with creation of the business plans for both the food & beverage and conference & banqueting departments. Work with Heads of Departments to ensure best value suppliers are being used and best prices are obtained. Work with Marketing team to come up with innovative ideas for increasing business to the hotel. Ideal Candidate: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role in a 4* or 5* property. Excellent presentation. A 'people person' who can connect with both guests and fellow workers. A highly motivated, hard-worker who is creative and innovative. Salary: €40,000 -€45,000 DOE.
