A Veterinary Scientist is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based agri client. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with an ambitious and fast growing company which is involved in innovation in the agri customer service arena. THE ROLE: * Delivery of programmes for dairy and suckler herd owners based on research evidence, technical expertise and international best practice. * Collaboration and engagement with our shareholders, the dairy cooperatives, and customers, ensuring programmes are aligned with their requirements. * Review and continuous improvement of programmes, seeking better ways to add value to the herd owner. * Delivering outcomes of real and quantifiable value. * Provision of professional training to Munster staff in the field such as field technicians and Advisors. REQUIREMENTS: * Hold a degree in Veterinary Medicine and be registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland. * Further Education qualifications would be an advantage. * Possess technical excellence in cattle production systems, nutrition, breeding and animal health. * Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and impart knowledge. * Have a minimum 5 years experience in dealing with cattle. * Be willing to travel within the Munster area if required.
