FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Dairy Herd Manager for a dairy farm in France. This is a full-time permanent role. My client is large scale mixed farm based in North West France. They harvest a large range of cereals including oil seed rape. Presently they are looking to add an additional Dairy Herd Manager to take over the daily running of a 180 cow dairy herd. The dairy herd operates an all year round high input system using a Herringbone milking unit. Duties. Manage the daily running / operations of the dairy farm. Milking morning & evening. Cleaning out of cubicles using very modern machinery. Bedding cubicles with straw using a straw spreader. Tractor and associated machinery work. Work every 2nd weekend. Candidate profile. A number of years practical experience working with cows. A strong work ethic. Ability to prioritise. The ability to take on extra duties when required. Renumeration.
