Position: Sales & Marketing Manager. We have a superb opportunity for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a very busy and well established Sales & Marketing Department. As Sales & Marketing Manager, you will form part of the properties Senior Management Team. Key areas of responsibilities: Develop, Organize and Drive the Sales & Marketing Plan for the hotel. Oversee the Conference & Events and Revenue/Reservations Departments. To assist in compiling the Sales & Marketing Budget & Plan for the property on an annual basis. To monitor, control and deliver on agreed Activities, Plans and Budgets. To achieve Rooms, F&B, & Conference budget for the hotel. To compile and produce weekly and monthly sales reports for the Hotel. To set personal and department objectives for direct reports and to monitor and review said objectives on a regular basis. To strategically target all market segments for business. To plan and agree advertising budget in advance. To represent the property at consumer fairs, trade exhibitions, seminars etc. To ensure the hotel is promoted through e-marketing and continue to drive the hotel social media. To encourage business to the hotel from overseas markets. To forecast weekly/monthly for the hotel in conjunction with the hotel Revenue Manager and Financial Controller. Person Specification: The ideal candidate will have previously worked as a Sales & Marketing Manager in a four or five star hotel. They should be able to demonstrate success and experience interfacing with major account customers and managing large contracts. Third level qualification in Business and or Sales & Marketing. Proven track record of driving Sales & Marketing initiatives and managing a diverse and dynamic team. Experience in developing, planning and facilitating marketing and promotional strategies. Strong financial acumen. Demonstrate a good Understanding for the business - third party systems, yield, wholesalers, Operators and Travel Agents, RFP's etc. In Return we offer: Competitive salary.
