The Pantry Café & Restaurant Merchant Quay Shopping Centre Cork City are seeking to recruit Full & Part time Experienced Catering Assistants for their café & restaurant. Bright, bubbly, energetic team members are needed to join our team. This role is for day time hours. A minimum of 1 year’s barista experience and some formal restaurant or kitchen training is essential for this role. Duties and tasks within this role will be varied and wide ranging. Ideal candidates will be expected to work across all sections of the operation. Duties will include (but not limited to): Assist with basic food preparation. Assist with set up and service of food counter. Understand daily menu Portion control. Ensure counters are replenished and tidy throughout service. Work on cash till, and offer outstanding customer service and all other adhoc duties relating to working in a busy environment. A minimum of 1/2 years experience in a café/restaurant is essential.
