Overview. As the Otter Products websites are a critical point of contact between Otter Products and the end user of our products, we are seeking an eCommerce Marketing Specialist to join our team to play a key role in creating and maintaining the image and online experience of Otter Products. This role will help drive traffic to the Otter Products sites and influence web sales through Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising, Affiliate Marketing and SEO (search engine optimisation). Through thorough research and monitoring, this position creates, maintains and updates successful online campaigns using paid advertising as well as optimising search engine results through use of web content and landing pages. Create, implement, manage and test PPC campaigns– including search, shopping and display advertising. Manage and grow our affiliate program with third party agency and US colleagues. Work closely with brand and digital specialists to co-ordinate email marketing calendar to include launches, promotions, brand campaigns and website strategies. Create eCommerce calendar to reflect overall brand marketing website and product launch calendar. Provide positive company exposure through successful SEM tactics. Work with merchandisers, content and development specialists to maximise SEO efforts. Conducts performance reporting and analyses results to calculate return on investments. Keep detailed and updated reports on all online campaigns. Propose new and creative ways to interact with our email database and site users offering innovative solutions and on- brand strategies. Develop creative ways to retarget lost prospects. Work with ecommerce team including merchandising, development and UX to contribute to site improvements, promotional events and online activities. Develop and foster professional working relationships with cross-functional internal team members as well as external partners and colleagues in US on global marketing and eCommerce teams. Monitor industry trends and share insights with direct and indirect teams to ensure our platforms are continuously improving and up to date with best practice. Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies & procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment. Other duties as required. Qualifications. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (business, marketing, communications) or equivalent relevant industry experience required. Minimum 2-3 years of online marketing experience required (experience within consumer products an advantage. Hands on PPC account management experience is essential. Experience building successful Adwords campaigns. In depth knowledge of Google Analytics and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to make strategic decisions based on campaign performance. Ability to work in a fast paced, continuously changing environment. Knowledge of current online trends and passion to keep current with trends. Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook. Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, problem solve, and meet deadlines. Effectively communicate in English (a second European language would be an advantage.
