Senior HR Manager. Cork. Permanent. Our client, a leader in the pharmaceutical industry is recruiting a Senior HR Manager to work on their site in Cork. Responsibilities. Liaise with senior leadership teams and provide support from a HR perspective. Liaising with other sites as required. Understand business needs and develop and implement appropriate HR strategies to address them. Develop a talent pipeline and implement a plan for succession planning. Identify areas for L&D and address through HR strategy. Design and implement strategies and initiatives to maintain employee engagement and retention. Ensure HR strategy is aligned with the overall business strategy. Participate in and where necessary take the lead on local and global HR projects. Provide guidance and support to management on employment law and employee relations issues. Requirements. Minimum degree qualified in Human Resource Management. Previous experience in a strategic HR role is essential. Strong experience across all HR functions including recruitment, learning & development, compensation & benefits, employment law, employee relations, talent management, etc. A proven track record in designing, developing, delivering and evaluating learning & development strategies. Extensive experience with designing and implementing talent management and succession planning programmes. Strong knowledge of employment law. Good judgement and sound decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build and maintain successful business relationships. Excellent stakeholder management. May involve some travel.
