A multinational manufacturing organization is recruiting for an Operations Team Lead to join their team in Cork. Reporting to the Head of the Department, you will be managing a team of 15 operatives. Ensure efficient and effective day to day running of the section. Mange team members to ensure they adhere to company’s SOP’s; wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. Responsible for completing dynamic risk assessments to determine if there are any safety hazards; conduct investigations due to non-conformance & review risk assessments to drive continuous improvements within the safety system. Proactively promote continuous improvement of process activities through identification, implementation and evaluation of same. Supervise the operation and maintenance of operations equipment. Handling Industrial relations and people management issues. Qualifications. Degree qualification in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Process Technology or a similar related discipline. Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a supervisory/team leader role in a production environment. Experience working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment would be beneficial. Proven Process and Project management capability. Working knowledge and awareness of quality, environmental, health and safety implications.
