Stock Controller. Responsibilities. Logging all price changes and updates. Handling product queries, back orders, returns and repeat business. Monitoring and ensuring appropriate stock levels. To obtain quote requests for new items and to amend Purchase Information Records accordingly. Issue stock products to the clients. To accurately and efficiently record goods delivered into the stock control system. To release products on back order for delivery to the Client. Confirm customer deliveries in a timely manner. Ensure approved documentation is accurately completed and authorised where necessary. Liaising with Warehouse to ensure adequate levels of stock. Liaising with suppliers. Ensuring that this role is carried out pro-actively with energy, commitment, professionalism and discretion, quickly adapting to the position, with an eye for attention to detail. Requirements. Possess a relevant purchasing and/ or business administration qualification preferable. Have previous role-related experience. Be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Sage. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships internally and externally. Demonstrate great organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and see tasks through to completion. Strong attention to detail is essential.
