Our client is a large manufacturing solutions provider primarily operating in the medical devices sector. They are now looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be tasked with managing supply chain processes and focusing on enhancing the quality of supplier service levels and reducing costs. Overseeing the supply chain function, you will provide leadership and management to the team and will take part in strategic sourcing, procurement, planning and MRP activities. Specifically, your role will focus on: - The performance of Buyers and Planners. - Working with the Stores Department for production planning, material requirements and communication. - The quality of all supply chain work delivery, including staff training, procedures and GMP requirements. - The management, motivation and development of the Supply Chain Team. - Technical leadership for all supply chain staff. Interested? To be considered, you will need: - An APICS certification. - At least five years’ related supply chain experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience of working with customers. - A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Organised and communicative, as the Supply Chain Manager, you will need a strong customer focus and the ability to work well with external parties or customers. A Lean and/or Six Sigma accreditation or qualification at Green Belt or higher, would be beneficial to your application.
