Responsibilities. Weekly clearing of bank reconciling items and follow up of aged items. Prepare and issue invoices and credit notes. Review PO’s and request corresponding supplier POD’s. Calculation and posting of month end accruals. Allocation of pre-payments ahead of weekly payment batch. Maintain, review and investigate accuracy of accounting of transactions. Work with internal stakeholders to improve processes within the finance function. Cover for other team members as directed by manager. Ad hoc duties as directed by manager. Education. Recognised Accounting Qualification essential for this role i.e Accounting Technician. At least 1 years’ experience working in a similar role. Working knowledge of Sage Line 50 essential for this role. Ability to work well in a fast paced environment. Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise work.
