We are now recruiting a Tax Manager to join our Business Services team (Tax, Finance & IT) in Eastgate, Little Island on a permanent basis. We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo's mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands. The successful candidate will report into the Snr Tax Director and will be responsible for managing the tax aspects of PepsiCo's operating models in PGCS and for supporting PGCS in the development and implementation of business strategies and projects. Primary Accountabilities: Manage all Irish tax compliance and reporting matters for PepsiCo's Irish legal entities. Manage PepsiCo's relationship with Irish Revenue and ensure PepsiCo meets its obligations under Revenues Cooperative Compliance Framework. Manage Transfer Pricing obligations in collaboration with the PepsiCo Transfer Pricing team. Support Snr Tax Director in the maintaining of a robust governance structure to support the existing business model in PGCS. Ensure that new Irish and International tax legislative proposals are analysed correctly to understand the implications for PepsiCo. Partner with senior business leadership in PepsiCo to develop strategic projects and ensure that the tax implications of new projects are understood and incorporated into business plans. Assist with any audit/queries from affiliate companies and tax authorities in other countries. Support Snr Tax Director on all tax matters for PGCS and ad-hoc duties associated with the role. Essential Skills: Institute of Tax Ireland (ITI) qualified coupled with a significant amount of PQE ideally in a multinational environment or BIG 4. Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, CIMA or equivalent. Transfer Pricing experience. Demonstrated proven track record essential. Additional Desired Skills/Experience: Corporate Tax and/or Transfer Pricing experience in a US multinational company. Proficient in compiling Irish corporation tax returns and other tax documents. Irish R&D tax credit documentation experience. VAT knowledge. Good understanding of US tax code.
