O’Mahony McCarthy Limited, a long established audit and accountancy practice based in Bandon are currently recruiting a newly qualified / part qualified accountant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to progress their career in accountancy. This position will ideally suit a part or newly qualified accountant with 2 years + practice experience. T he Role will include, but will not be limited to, the following duties:- Preparation of accounts for partner/senior review for sole traders, partnership and limited companies. Preparation of income and corporate tax calculations. Preparation of VAT 3 & P30 returns, RCT and other Revenue filings. Preparation of client payroll. Company Registration Office filings. Various ad-hoc duties as and when required. The Candidate. While full training will be provided candidates must be qualified or part qualified accountants with a minimum of two years’ experience in public practice. All candidates are expected to have a good understanding of the accounting basics and have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a strong customer service ethos. Computer literacy is essential. Remuneration commensurate with experience. Training and study/CPD support will be provided.
