Blarney Credit Union Limited. St Anne’s Road, Blarney, Co Cork is now inviting applications for the following position. Job Title: Office Manager. Reporting to: CEO. Summary of Role. The Office Manager role will have responsibility for ensuring a high-quality service is provided to the credit union and its members. Responsibilities will include a range of managerial, administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective running of the credit union. The role will be responsible for administrative duties which include; preparation of Bank Reconciliations, Monthly Management Accounts, dealing with both member and HR /staff queries within the office, updating social media and working as part of the Management Team to manage the day to day operations. The ideal candidate will have: Knowledge/experience of the workings of a credit union or other financial Institution. Experience with computerised accounting packages (would be an advantage. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Marketing & Social Media skills (an advantage. Understanding of governance and compliance within the credit union. QFA/CUA/CUG or other relevant qualification (would be an advantage. Experience of working in a similar position within a financial organisation. This is a Controlled Function (CF) within the Central Bank Fitness & Probity Regulations. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
