We are now on the lookout for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Cork on a permanent basis. The role will be based in our manufacturing site in Little Island. Reporting into the HR Ops Sr Representative, in this role you will be responsible for supporting the HR operations compensation and benefits systems and processes across payroll, HRIS and T&A. Primary Accountabilities: Collation, preparation and completion of weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and to tight deadlines. Maintain strong relationship with payroll bureau to ensure timeliness and efficiency at all times. Process payroll related bank payments in a timely manner to ensure all employees are paid on time. Respond to queries from management, staff and external parties in relation to payroll and benefits. Help manage payroll associated benefits in conjunction with benefit providers. Complete monthly payroll journals, liaising with Finance team. Manage relationship with internal and external payroll stakeholders. Maintain continuous improvement mindset and identify process improvement opportunities to enhance service delivery. Complete statutory returns such as. Ensure all compensation & benefit processes always remain audit compliant. Provide support to maintain the HRIS system for Ireland. Generate monthly reports, metrics and dashboards for HR and Finance. Management of any audit processes, working closely with Finance teams. Provide analysis and reporting information as required. Assist with other ad-hoc projects as they arise. Essential Skills: A business-related qualification, HR, Finance or IPASS qualification preferred. Minimum 3 years' relevant experience processing high volume payroll. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and systems experience. Previous process improvement and streamlining experience. Excellent organisational, interpersonal and employee relations skills. High-level PC literacy, with MS Excel proficiency preferred. Additional Desired Skills/Experience: Experience working in a multinational organisation and / or manufacturing industry is an advantage. Previous experience of a HRIS system (myHR preferred. T&A system experience an advantage (Core, Kronos. Pension plan administration (both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension plans) including administration, calculation and remittance of contributions, processing of leavers and joiners, annual renewals and statutory reporting. Other benefits administration, including sickness, long term illness, maternity/paternity leave and other benefit plans. Experience dealing with share purchase schemes. Lean systems qualification/experience.
