Location: Cork. Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company is currently looking for a Technical Scientist to join their team in Cork. This company provides exceptional training and progression and is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team. The primary purpose of this job is to support the analytical science function of the site and contribute to drug development processes using various tools and approaches. This is a full- time permanent position. Responsibilities: *Support technology transfer activities in a bio- processing development lab environment. *Liaise with remote sites to plan and project manage with personnel regarding technology transfers. *Support new product introduction work. *Perform data monitoring, sampling, sample analysis and bioreactor feeding to support bioreactor runs. *Support 5S in the laboratory. *Perform data reviews. *Keep SOP's and official documentation up to date. *Contribute to calibration and maintenance of equipment. *Investigate out-of-specification or abnormal results when required. *Perform sample management activities. *Acquire subject matter expertise in analytical techniques. *Write and revise SOP's, official documents and reports when required. *Train and coach other personnel. Requirements: *BSc in Science, Chemistry, Biology or related field. *A PhD qualification would be an advantage. *At least 1-2 years industry experience in a GMP environment is required. *Experience using aseptic techniques.
