The role: The Whey Shift Manager will focus on achieving Whey Production, Cost, Customer and operator targets whilst adhering to Food Safety, Quality and Environmental standards. Main Responsibilities : Safety – Promote a safety culture within the site and set and monitor adherence to all Environmental, Health & Safety standards and procedures; People – Leads and manages a team of whey operators , operator Work groups and Ps’s. Cost – Payroll, Yield and ingredients usage. Customer – Customer complaints and implementing actions ex audits. Quality – RFT , Hygiene, Incident reporting and Change Control. Reliability - Throughput ,effieciency and OEE. Environment – COD and Hydraulic loading incident reporting and investigating. KeyCompetencies: Decision Quality – can make complex decisions. Directing others – is capable of getting work done through others. Driving for results – focuses on the bottom line. Customer focus – managing diverse relationships. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; Strong CI knowledge.
