My client, a thriving hotel located on the outskirts of a beautiful coastal town in Cork, are looking for a General Manager. This is a luxury hotel that specializes in weddings and all sorts of functions and events, so someone with extensive conference and banqueting experience would be an ideal candidate. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager or Senior Operations Manager to lead the planning and direction of the safe and efficient operation of the hotel. To provide guests with a quality well maintained hotel along with a quality service at all times. To maximise on profitability through maximising on sales and keeping all costs to a minimum. The successful individual will report to direct to the Regional Operations Manager. The ideal candidate must have the following qualities: A business leader who must have previous hotel General Management or Senior Operations Management experience in a busy 4* property. Must be dynamic and innovative and has the ability to lead and motivate all team member. Commercially astute, financially experienced who can lead on budget and forecasting for accurate results. A standards driven individual, has attention to detail and will have the ability to build and maintain excellent relations both internally and externally.
