Job Purpose: A deluxe 4* hotel in Cork is seeking a new Deputy General Manager who has an exceptional standard of guest relations, a passion for food and wine and a remarkable eye for detail. The right candidate will ensure a high standard of service whilst using existing skills to inspire the team. Forecasting and managing payroll. Cashing up procedures. Opening and closing the restaurant. Responsible for the business performance of the restaurant. Maintaining high standards of food, service, health and safety. Training and development of your successful and passionate team. Role Requirements : Sound knowledge and passion for food & wine. Strong focus on training, learning & development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Leading Hotel Standards of Service. Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team. Previous Restaurant or F&B management within a Hotel/Restaurant. A passion for service excellence, dining experience, is able to work using initiative standards-driven, and the ability to lead and manage a team.
