I am looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to to join my client, a leading manufacturing company in Cork. Thee location would be easily commutable from Co. Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford. The successful candidate will have at least 4/5 years Automation experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The manufacturing plant in Cork is part of a global team with over 40,000 engineering professionals from over 20 countries of which you will be a part of. Duties: * Building of the customer relationship, continuously monitoring progress with the objective of meeting & exceeding customer expectations. * Manage all relevant peer to peer communications for the project. * Engage in design reviews for customer product and Equipment Supplier Equipment and Process. * Technical engagement with the customer R&D team for: * Advanced Engineering Team (Customized Automation Solutions & Process Development. * Product Design (DFA, DFT, DFF. * Support the design of the supply chain to support the project objectives. * Manage the DFx, requirements. * Ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 regulations. Requirements: * Degree in Engineering or related field. * At least 5 years of experience in a similiar automation or controls engineering role within a high-volume manufacturing environment. * Must be an excellent communicator with effective leadership and influencing skills.
