Business Development Manager. Cork/Munster. Perm. Our client, a multinational in the IT sector is recruiting a Business Development Manager to continue to expand their business in the Munster region. Responsibilities. Cover a specific assigned territory. Build and manage a portfolio of customers and partners. Develop a sales strategy for your territory. Manage the full sales cycle. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and market trends. Advise and train customers and partners on the best products and services for their requirements. Increase brand awareness and promote the organisation in a positive light. Liaise with senior management and other areas of the business as required. Requirements. Third level qualification in relevant area. Previous experience in a sales/business development role in the IT industry. Knowledge of software and cloud technology in particular Microsoft products. Demonstrated ability to work to KPIs and exceed targets. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Excellent stakeholder management. Highly motivated with excellent time management. Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and good judgement. Strong presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
