Great opportunity for a Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant to join a progressive agribusiness in Co.Cork (30 mins on the West side of Cork City). The successful candidate will be an integral part of a people focused finance team. The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist the Finance Manager/team with the day to day running of the Finance function and assist with management accounting, reporting and compliance. If you are part-qualified and eager to progress your career in industry this would be a great opportunity to develop your experience. May suit those coming from pracitce or those with industry experience. 12 month contract originally with a view to permanency. Interviews to take place promptly. Overview of Responsibilities: Preparation of weekly management, monthly financial and year-end financial accounts. Reporting of company profit, monitoring income and expenditure for profit maximisation. Detailed balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure all statutory matters are adhered to e.g. compliance with VAT regulations. Authorisation of payments. Produce management information as and when required. Overview of Requirements: 3 years’ experience. Qualified or part qualified Accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Strong time management skills. Excellent communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and good technical skills.
