Our client, a Food Manufacturing company, based in Cork city, requires a Purchasing & Inventory Co-ordinator. Would you like to Join an indigenous Irish company that have been operating at world class standards for the past 46 years. This role reports into the Supply Chain Manager. List of duties: Assist in providing a Purchasing service to my Client and the continuing development / improvement of the current system. Input build plan from planner into Ross (ERP System) per procedural steps. Run MPS & MRP. Calculate purchasing requirements in line with MRP recommendations and agreed stock levels and send PO's to approved suppliers. Tender Vitamin requirement to approved supplier - place order with successful supplier. Follow up order status with supplier and feed and issue into board meetings and S&OP process. Send open orders report to Quality to notify them of what products are due into the factory. Schedule deliveries of in line with weekly production requirements. Schedule feed block premix requirement in line with weekly production requirements. Non-stock PO's on a required basis. Co-ordinate physical movement of Inventory. Ensure inventory movement and storage is in line with company F.I.F.O. policy. Co-ordinate removal of waste in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Lead stock provision process. Continually strive to improve storage and inventory movement process. General Responsibilities. Develop and improve the current purchasing model. Actively partake in the S&OP Process. Support Technical & Innovation department in sourcing new raw materials and packaging. Maintain purchase order / supplier files.
