Having met with the MD this week I was struck by his passion and belief in both the product and the company and in the growth potential available to the person who takes on the Field Ops Manager role. A well-funded company that has been driven by hard work, innovation and an unstinting belief in the promise of their technology my client is just about to enter the next phase of their development. As Field Ops Manager you manage all field operation activities across the company including pre / post job preparation, working onsite and leading Teams of operators. While the role is predominately field based with significant travel throughout Ireland & UK, the successful candidate will also be working out of my clients East Cork office. The Role: As Field Operation Manager you will travel extensively primarily around Ireland & the UK and some of the key elements of this exciting and dynamic role would include. Lead, motivate, train, coach, manage and coordinate the Operations team delivering performance and results for clients while adhering to my client's safety, quality & cost targets. You will be a senior member of the team helping to contribute to the strategic management of the company. Other duties will include Project Management, Continuous Improvement, Control and maintenance of all plant & equipment & operational budget management. The Fit/Opportunity: This is a challenging role and ideally you will have a mechanical aptitude (qualification not a requisite) with high energy levels and a proven track record in getting the most out of your team in sometimes challenging industrial environments. Flexibility is a MUST for this role with extensive travel, commitment & dedication required with the reward of fast track career progression for the candidate willing to take on this exciting job.
