Fruit and Vegetable Manager - East Cork. My client is a well known Irish brand who is looking for an experienced Fruit and Veg supervisor/Manager. The right person is to ensure the Fruit and Veg Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provides our customers with excellent quality products and customer service. The ideal candidate will have/be: - Minimum 1 years` experience as a Supervisor/Manager with experience in Fresh Food Departments and ordering. - Excellent communication skills. - Have a true passion for the food industry and as such be creative and innovative with the fresh offering. - The ability to inspire, lead and motivate employees. - The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi task under pressure. Main duties: - Achieve sales targets and margins as agreed with the store manager with strong KPI experience. - Adhere to weekly stocktaking procedures. - Ensure purchasing of stock is carried out in accordance with procedures and control of stock rotation, so that the quality and freshness of the goods is of the highest order; - Participate in quality review meetings and ensure actions resulting from same are carried out. - Minimise waste and shrink in the department. - Merchandise and present the department to the highest standard at all times. - Deal with all customer queries and efficiently, professionally and consistent with store policy. - Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working.
