Ludgate, based in the beautiful West Cork town of Skibbereen, has for 5 years now been leading the way in creating a new model for successful rural digital economies. As Ireland’s first rural digital hub, located in Ireland’s first 1GB town, our goal is to facilitate the creation of 500 jobs in West Cork, playing our part in creating a sustainable community in the region. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER As we move to the next exciting phase of our development, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive our job creation programme. Your key role will be to market and sell Skibbereen and West Cork as a location of choice for both indigenous and international companies, both newly-establishing companies and those seeking second-site locations. This is a new post, dedicated to selling our vision and helping businesses to find their place in in our unique ecosystem. REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years proven sales/business development experience. A strong relevant network. Strong background in developing and managing commercial relationship. We are flexible in relation to the location of the right person, be that in Ludgate, Dublin, Cork or elsewhere in Ireland, but you will be required to be in Ludgate as the need arises.
