Opportunity to join leading utilities infrastructure organisation, based in either Dublin or Cork. Provide overall governance across all IT Infrastructure implementations across the full SDLC including service transition to the BAU Infrastructure Operations teams, and to implement solutions in line with best practices and enterprise architecture strategies. The successful candidate is responsible for assuring infrastructure project delivery, and will guide planning, facilitate demand management, manage risk, sequencing and interdependencies and capacity planning of all Infrastructure related initiatives. This role is critical for successful transition to BAU across all infrastructure projects and change initiatives. Also have responsibility for the development of strong relationships with the relevant stakeholders for the successful management and alignment of Infrastructure projects across the organisation. Relevant degree with 8 + years of exp. in an enterprise architecture context, formal certification would be an advantage (for example TOGAF) as would knowledge and experience across architecture disciplines, processes, concepts and best practices. Ability to demonstrable experience across multiple architecture domains (infrastructure, data, applications, integration, cloud, mobile, end-user computing and solution architecture. A good understanding of, and relevant experience of, the end to end IT lifecycle including IT Strategy, IT Delivery, and IT Operations.
