Opportunity to join one of the largest Software development organisations in Ireland as a Software Sales & Business Development Manager. The role is to drive market and sales growth worldwide of the Maritime safety suite of products. Responsibilities: Promote and grow the maritime suite of products and to develop markets worldwide. Build relationships with client procurement principals. Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services. Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and establishing suitably aligned business relationships. Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests. Communicate new product developments and pipeline to prospective and existing clients. Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate. Experience: • 5+ years experience in technical product sales and business development. • Good knowledge of Internet and IoT technologies and trends and practises. • Knowledge of maritime industry and safety, or tracking technologies a distinct advantage. • Strong presentation and relationship development skills. • Adept at market research and identifying aligned opportunities. • Ability to build strong relationships with internal technical teams and grasp resource capabilities. • Ability to inspire confidence and project professionalism at all times.
