Forde Steel Buildings Ltd – Donoughmore, Co Cork, Ireland. Forde Steel Buildings are currently recruiting for a Trainee Structural Steel Detailer to join our drawing office team. Experience within either the Steel Fabrication, Engineering, or Construction sectors, and / or experience with using Tekla / Advance Steel a distinct advantage. Key responsibilities to include: Liaising with engineers & architects. Creating 3D models using Tekla or Advance Steel – Training will be provided. Producing accurate shop drawings for fabrication under supervision. Creating General Arrangement / assembly drawings under supervision. Essential Criteria: Ability to deal with a number of projects at any one time. Must have very good attention to detail and good problem solving skills. The ability to work on your own and as part of a team. Proficient in all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook. We are located approximately 20 minutes north of Cork City, there is no access by public transport therefore own transport is essential.
