Head Chef, 4* Hotel - Cork. We are currently recruiting for a talented Head Chef for our client, a fantastic 4* Hotel based in Cork. The ideal candidate should be a hands on proactive manager capable of leading and motivating a team of Chefs to excel and exceed in the delivery of exceptional food whilst maintaining consistency. The Role. To ensure smooth running of all departmental kitchens, adhering to the high standards required by the hotel. Manage, lead and guide the kitchen team - ensuring that team work and staff morale is always optimum. Menu planning, recipe creation, mentor junior staff. Ensure the day to day running of all outlets by careful management of section workloads- Ensure optimum stocking levels and ordering is conducted to achieve food G.Ps and KPI's. Maintain all aspects of the kitchens - all kitchen storage rooms, delivery areas, staff areas, fridges. Ensure that all HACCP & food hygiene legislation is adhered to and documented. Forecasts, rosters, monthly stock control, team training , cost control management. Maintain effective and positive feedback to all colleagues. Ensure the quality and consistency of food standards throughout the hotel at all times. Enthusiasm, motivation, leadership & creativity is a must for this role.
