A CNC Applications Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based med device client This is a 12 month initial contract role to support major new product launch projects . THE ROLE: * Interact with CAD/CAM engineers, Quality, Process Engineering & Operations to develop, characterise and qualify the CNC machining process for a new product in line with existing manufacturing standards. * Pilot Production process will already be developed and so the bulk of the work will be in replication and optimisation. * CNC Process Development. * Minimise Environmental and Health & Safety effects of your work. * Support Regulatory Affairs with product submissions. REQUIREMENTS: * Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline. * 1-4 years' experience in CNC - ideally in titanium. * NX Unigraphics knowledge desireable. * CAD/CAM experience desireable.
