Opportunity to join leading utilities infrastructure organisation, based in either Dublin or Cork. Initial 2 year assigment. Provides the leadership and expertise to enable delivery of capital programmes in line with Capital Investment Plan and is accountable for the overall performance of the Asset Sourcing process. Responsible for developing and executing capital procurement and contracting strategies in order to efficiently and effectively deliver capital contracts for the safe delivery of organization’s capital plan. Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall Supply Chain strategy and vision as well as working with senior company leadership to develop detailed strategies for capital programmes in line with Supply Chain objectives. Drive a transformation agenda to create a high-performance culture within the Supply Chain Capital Delivery team. Degree with 10 years post-grad. Exp. in a senior position managing a large Capital Delivery team. Demonstrated experience manipulating data, with ability to manipulate and analyse large data sets, including PO, AP and GL data to draw inferences about spend and suppliers. Budget, OPEX and/or CAPEX management experience. Expert project management and planning skills, with ability to think through big programmes with planning horizons of up to five years, manage stakeholder groups and develop communication plans, and identify and manage risks and issues.
