In this job you would be getting an opportunity to join a progressive and expanding company who have recently made a multi-million euro investment in their depot & customer service facility and where you will get the chance to work with brand new state of the art plant & equipment. Working in a diverse team of 7 with mechanics from all over the world you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced garage foreman who will mentor and train you up in the HGV Mechanic role. My client offers lots of support and educational assistance to mechanics looking to broaden their skill set. They have a very stable workforce where people tend to stay in the company for many years due to the progressive company culture which fosters an environment where you are not micro-managed but where ample support and training are available when you ask for it. This company will offer free accommodation for the first 3 months after you join along with paid flights and visa assistance for those candidates outside of Ireland & the EU. As HGV Mechanic your job will involve: Electrical and engine troubleshooting and diagnostics. Engine and transmission repairs. Perform incidental welding operations and other mechanical repair work as required. Perform inspections and test mechanical units. Diagnose faults and malfunctions. Adjust, repair and/or replace parts and components of transport systems.
