Our very successful client is looking for a Group Finance Manager to join their company on a 12 month contract . The successful candidate will be based in Mitchelstown, Co Cork. This contract role reports to the Group Financial Controller. The Group Financial Accountant will provide financial support and direction and have responsibility for reporting consolidated management accounts and other information. Responsibilities include: Manage the preparation of the consolidated monthly management accounts. Coordinate the preparation of consolidated annual financial statements and annual report. Responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts. Providing support to Group Heads of Functions. Review and management of balance sheet account reconciliations. Review monthly financial submissions received from various divisions. Responsible for preparation of cash flow projections, forecasts and capital expenditure reports by various divisions. Responsible for VAT and Tax filings. Manage the preparation & review of Group Finance policies & procedures. Manage adhoc reports and project work as required. The successful candidate will be: A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA & CIMA) with a minimum of 7 years related experience. Excellent financial technical and analytical skills with strong commercial awareness. Proven IT proficiency and reporting expertise, excellent working knowledge of Oracle. Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent planning and organising skills. Resilience and be capable of working under pressure. An effective people manager.
