A Head of Operations is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based food client. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader to develop a cohesive team in a growing, fas-paced business. THE ROLE: * Reporting to the Managing Director, you will provide leadership to the operations team, embed systems and processes to manage people and resources. * You will develop the operations team to improve employee engagement and create a culture of continuous improvement while being accountable for the day to day execution of the production plan. * You will work in consultation and partnership with the Managing Director and be responsible for the operation of the site, delivering high volume, value add operations in a fast moving, high SKU, process driven environment. REQUIREMENTS: * Background in the food industry, ideally commercial branded FMCG and/or manufacturing environment. * Experience implementing and managing change successfully. * Strong track record of leading, managing and developing a cohesive team. * Lean business management skills. * Training, mentoring and people development skills. * KPI / Target driven. * Competent in Data Analytics, Food safety, environmental, Health and Safety legislation.
