The Company/Opportunity: I am delighted to be assisting this multinational food company in Cork in their search for a Quality Specialist for their Cork facility. The Job: In this job you will have an extensive remit that primarily involves: Preparing for and following through for various audits & monitoring process indicators. Cooperates with other department on a range of audit related activities. Managing data collection related to quality, certification and management systems. Managing internal audit planning and execution. Update HACCP plans & coordinating and managing HACCP team. Helping to define the necessary rules in order to guarantee product (workflow) traceability and to detect origins of quality food safety related issues. What you ' ll need. To hit the ground running in this exciting and multifaceted Quality Specialist job you will need to have relevant experience in a GMP environment and hold a relevant degree or master in a technical or scientific discipline. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not essential and you will have a strong working knowledge of quality assurance systems, methods and procedures. This is a highly analytical role with strong investigation & report writing skills needed to hit the ground running along with some experience in technical writing. Most importantly you will be a natural communicator and enjoy working with people from other departments and if you have a basic understanding of Lean & root cause analysis this would be beneficial in the QA Specialist job.
