A Maintenance Technician is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based MN client. This is an exciting opportunity to join a start up manufacturing operation supplying specialist containment products to the European pharma and Biotech sector. THE ROLE: * Provide technical support to production operations. * Maintain organisation's production equipment. * Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures. * May work with manufacturing, engineering, or test engineering departments. * Performs routine assignments as directed. * Perform tests and run initial batches to make sure that machinery is operating correctly. * Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications. REQUIREMENTS: * Third level qualification in Engineering, L6 or equivalent trades / apprenticeship. * 3 years related experience within a manufacturing environment. * Experience with PLC programming and/or formal education related to PLC programming. * Willingness to work shifts.
