Role Summary: An opportunity has arisen for an AutoCAD Engineer to join the Engineering Department of our well renowned client in Cork. The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day support to the Design Office, as-building of engineering drawings (all disciplines) and providing support to Maintenance and Capital Projects teams as required. Initially a 12 month, site based contract with possibility of extension. Core Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain Plant Drawing Library. Modify and draw new plant and project layouts using AutoCAD. Maintain the “as built” plant drawing data bases for all Plant areas. Develop and optimise the systems, registers and data bases used for project development, Detail Design, Construction and Project Close out. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of a qualification in Computer Aided Design, Applications Software or other relevant discipline with a minimum of 1-2 years industry experience. Experience with paper space/ model space scaled draughting with a good knowledge of 3D drawings. Skilled in all Microsoft applications including Microsoft Access. Excellent problem-solving, organisational, planning and scheduling skills. Customer focused and flexible. Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
