Global Medical device company. To engineer and implement highly capable & effective manufacturing processes to meet business goals and objectives, in conjunction with providing technical/engineering maintenance & calibration support involved in delivering equipment/fixture type solutions that result in optimum manufacturing practices. Generate concepts/ideas that revolve around equipment/fixturing solutions. Work with sustaining engineering & process development engineering in the detailed development of User Requirements & Functional Design Specifications towards the selection/development of appropriate equipment ensuring deliverables are aligned with the requirements of the manufacturing processes required. Generate & manage a detailed Project Plan that ensures equipment/fixture solutions are implemented into the manufacturing area in an effective & timely fashion. Successful implementation will involve building up a strong working relationship with all of the manufacturing process stakeholders. Relevant Engineering qual. with exp. of New equipment introduction / equipment transfer experience. Equipment validation experience – URS, IQ/OQ/PQ, FAT, SAT etc. Some automation experience. Specifying, sourcing, purchasing, validating new equipment for new products. Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
