Description

Business Developer. Responsible for managing all field sales and customer care activities to General Dental Practitioners within a specific territory. This requires face-to-face contact with every account on the territory list on a timely basis, to build sales of both Merchandise and Equipment sales to existing customers as well as a heavy emphasis on obtaining and developing new customers, using the added value tools. The Role: Develop and manage a specific territory, increasing sales, margin and market share as the primary objective. Achieve sales objectives and field KPI's for their territories as set by the National Sales Manager. Focus on key activities to achieve goals such as Ecommerce, career development (discovery meetings), Rewards loyalty scheme, own brand share, Business Solutions and equipment lead generation. Plan, organise and implement effective strategies using all company programs, tools and initiatives to increase market share. Respond in a timely fashion to customer concerns, follow up actions to assure customer issues / opportunities are communicated to appropriate department, providing the best service levels to customers. Manage time and territory effectively and profitably. Attend all dental meetings / seminars and participate in all training programs as instructed by the National Sales Manager. Maintain communication with National Sales Manager on a timely basis participating in all sales meetings as requested by the National Sales Manager. Accountable for adherence to company policies and procedures. Work in a professional and harmonious manner and cooperate with all personnel in the execution of all company programs. Maintain a high level of integrity and constantly focus on continuing education programs to enhance sales performance. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required. Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures. Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behaviour in completing job duties and assignments. The Candidate: Has a passion for sales and enjoys the "hard sell" as much as account management. Experienced in Field Sales with a track record of achieving KPIs. Driven to grow the market they cover and show the initiative to do so. Resilient.
