A global Leader in developing and commercializing innovative biopharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer for a 12-month fixed term contract. Duties: You will develop strategies to implement changes to process. You will provide Packaging Engineering support for the development and launch of new products. You will be involved in technical packaging projects on cross- functional project teams. You will design, test and implement secondary, teritary, and selected primary packaging components. You will write technical reports and perform financial analysis to support new or revised packaging proposals. You will author author SOP’s, work procedures, packaging specifications, package design testing protocols, technical documentation including all specifications and work procedures. You will work with and travel to contract sites to jointly develop packaging systems, batch records, distribution and handling methods. You will initiate change controls, deviations and CAPAs through the Trackwise. Job requirements: Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Packaging Engineer in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry. Experience working with and knowledge of ISO and ASTM packaging test protocols. Experience with CAPA, FMEC, RCA tools. Recommend systems to improve department policies and practices (Adobe, AutoCad or Aritos are a plus. Experience packaging combination products is a plus. Proficiency with Oracle or other materials management systems and Trackwise is desired. Degree in Engineering, Science or Business Discipline is required.
