Group CIO is required for permanent position in Cork or in Dublin. CareerWise Recruitment is working with a Multi-National to recruit an experienced CIO. The role of CIO is to lead in the prioritisation of technology-related initiatives within the company both from a strategic and operational perspective aligning with group company goals. THE ROLE: * Enhancing the speed and impact of business decisions through digitisation of processes. * Manage the specify and customise/configure technological systems and platforms to improve User (customer) experience. * Manage all aspects of IT expenditure and establish partnerships with providers. * Oversee the technological infrastructure in the organisation to ensure optimal performance. * Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage. * Analyse the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions. * Driving Business growth through introduction of Digital and IOT technologies. REQUIREMENTS: * Undergraduate degree Engineering or science related discipline. * 15 years' operating at a Senior Leader level in a mid to large scale operation with good understanding of the Architecture, Engineering and Construction / Professional services sectors. * Experience building, leading and nurturing a team of highly motivated and innovative team members. * Demonstrated ability to be both strategic and operational. * Engineering or A&E professional services, ideally someone who has digitalisation transformation experience including BIM.
