Cpl Healthcare are currently seeking an experienced social care professional, with a background in leadership, working with vulnerable young people in residential services for an exciting new opportunity. Our client, based in Douglas, Co. Cork are set to open a brand-new home for vulnerable young people. This is an exciting position for someone who has strong experience in the field and would have the drive and initiative to assist in developing and establishing an effective new service. Requirements: A level 8 Degree in Social Care and 5 years post grad experience in social care and 2 years in leadership/ management and working with young people in residential services. Or. A level 7 Degree in Social Care and a relevant management qualification suitable for a social care setting and 5 years experience. Knowledge of all relevant childcare legislation and policy specific to Ireland. Strong working knowledge of HIQA legislation and registration process. Proficient communication skills, IT skills, report writing and planning skills. This post is subject to Garda clearance. A full clean driving licence is desirable but not essential.
