Head Baker required...new position available, large Restaurant in Cork City region introducing a new food concept, experienced "hands on" Baker required for this role with loads on enthusiasm and ideas.... The ideal candidate will demonstrate. Previous food preparation and production experience is required in Hotel or Restaurant. Qualified baker is a distinct advantage, 3+ years experience needed. Produce daily range of Breads, pastries, scones, desserts, confectionery etc. Creative and able to embrace new recipes, develop new product lines. Excellent motivation, communication and leadership skills. Ability to engage with and prioritise Guests and customer needs. Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible. Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Implement weekly stocktaking and daily waste controls. Adhere to production planning and batch control guidelines for bakery products. Conduct quality and freshness checks. Attend relevant training as required, coach, mentor and train your team.
