My client, a multinational organisation is seeking a highly capable General Manager who is looking for an exciting opportunity to work in an expanding and multi-faceted environment where they will oversee profit objectives, delivery of services and business expansion activities. The General Manager will be responsible for the following: Create a comprehensive annual business plan with clear strategies and objectives in line with Organisational Strategy. Ensure human resource and H&S policies and procedures are developed and implemented. Lead, train and coach employees whilst providing clear career development opportunities. Research the marketplace and conduct both competitor, potential and existing customer analysis to create a detailed budget and Marketing & Sales plan. Work closely with the Sales team to identify new business/customer opportunities. Ensure monthly KPIs are consistently achieved across customer satisfaction, profitability and operational activities. Implement organisational strategies, policies and procedures across operational, franchising, administration, sales and marketing. Review and analyse budgets, financial reports and forecasts and display accountability for Profit and Loss. The successful candidate: Proven track record of leading and directing a Sales/Operational/Logistics environment. Experience of managing budgets, financial reports and P&L. Highly capable of motivating, leading and coaching multi-functional and diverse teams. Confident influencer and negotiator with the ability to present to multiple stakeholders. Ability to develop and coordinate various projects and effectively communicate information to various work groups.
