My client, an Industrial Chemical Manufacturer, based in Cork City is in need of an Operations and Logistics Coordinator to join their busy and growing organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain specialist who is experienced in Operations and Logistics Coordination to join a well established organisation and utilise their skillsets and grow their career experience. The Operations and Logistics Coordinator role is a fast paced role that is suitable for a highly organised person with strong systems skills and a logical mindset. The role requirements are as follows: The processing and shipping of sales orders through the company system. Accurate booking in of inventory as received. Issuing of pick lists for customer orders as needed. Ensuring that all customer order and delivery documentation is accurate and up to date on the system. Management of export procedures and documentation. Management of Production Outputs. Assist with efficient route planning for customer deliveries as required. Liaise with shipping agents to ensure shipments are delivered on time and updating customer of the same. Assist in stock checks and cycle counts and ensure proper stock rotation (using the FIFO method) Report any stock damages or discrepancies. Carry out any other functions as required of the role as needed. The desirable Operations and Logistics Coordinator will fulfil the following requirements. Previous experience in a similar Logistics or Operations role. Strong IT systems experience- having previously used an ERP system (such as SAP) is a must. The ability to multitask.
